The Dizzy 7 have been playing in their current lineup since 2008. They create or obtain charts for music that just sounds good, no matter what the style, and have accumulated, rehearse and perform over 100 tunes.
The members of Dizzy 7 have played everywhere from Robinson Auditorium to RiverFest, The Rep to The Peabody, the Clinton Library to the White House, Memphis to Eureka Springs.
Two members are music teachers, some play regularly in various church ensembles, one has been musical director of several local theater productions, one had performed on cruise ships for the better part of two years and all members play regularly both with Dizzy 7 and with other projects, including the Happy Times Dixieland Band and the Tom Tiratto Brat Pack Show.
They have variously been in warm up acts for such stars as Levon Helm, Phish, Three Dog Night and The Romantics. Among them, they have played with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Big Band, and with such performers as Art Neville, Kenny Rogers, the Four Tops, The Temptations, Ray Charles, Leslie Gore, Lou Rawls, the Ringling Brothers Circus, Nancy Wilson and Chuck Berry.
